WHAT DO I PACK?

Sharp Top Cove is full of activity, adventure, and fun.  In order to make the most of your time, here are a few suggestions to bring with you to camp:

• Swimsuit
• Beach towel
• Tennis Shoes
• T-Shirts (a lot)
• Shorts (A Lot)
• Jeans
• Hiking boots (optional)
• A bandana or two
• Sweatshirt /  jacket
• One set of grubby clothes that can get dirty, including shoes!
• Sunscreen
• A western style outfit (i.e., jeans, boots, cowboy hats, big buckles, etc.)
• One nice outfit (no tuxedos, or prom dresses, guys think khakis and a polo, girls a casual dress)
• Spending $ for the camp store

For The Ride:  (NOT MUCH IT IS ONLY 2 HOURS)

• Snacks for the ride
• Pillow and small blanket
• Games (please, no wagering)
• iPod or CD player, if you like (please label yours so you can keep track of it)

***While we are in the camp (July 11- July 17) all cell phones and electronic devices (iPods, cd players, dvd players, etc.) will be locked in the camp safe for security purposes. They will be returned at the end of camp. Please label all items. There will be phones available for use at certain times of the day So Bring $$$ for a calling card.***

What is Young Life?

Young Life is an international, non-denominational outreach ministry to high school students. Young Life volunteer leaders build healthy, mentoring relationships with teens in their area high schools. Every summer, high school kids and their leaders attend Young Life camps, like SharpTop Cove, where they experience high adventure, delicious meals, deepened friendships and life-changing Gospel messages. What are the details?

Young Life Griffin will be attending SharpTop Cove in Jasper, GA July 11-17.  We travel as a group via chartered bus, so parents do not need to worry about transportation. The cost is only $250 for the entire week, thanks to a one-time generous donation! Students will be in cabins with their friends, chaperoned by one of our responsible adult leaders. They will be joined by Young Life student groups from around the country for a truly unforgettable week!

What about Health Forms?

For all campers, Young Life requires a health forms on file.

While SharpTop Cove does not require a doctor’s signature on your health forms, we do require that EVERY camper have a FULLY COMPLETED Camping Health Consent and Release Form filled out upon your arrival.  Please be certain that your forms are filled out in their entirety including signatures, initials, and complete insurance information.  If you need any assistance, please let us know.
